The Gospel As Revealed To Me(formerly "The Poem of the Man-God") is
the title of the new 2nd English edition of the Maria Valtorta’s main work.
The new English edition is similar to the original Italian both for the title and for the subdivision in 10 volumes.
It
narrates the birth and childhood of the Virgin Mary and her Son Jesus;
the three years of Jesus’ public life (forming the largest section); his
passion, death, resurrection, and ascension; the beginnings of the
Church; and the assumption of Mary. In lofty literary style, the work
describes landscapes, environments, people, and events with the
vividness of graphic depiction.
It presents characters and situations
with introspective insight and sets forth moments of joy or drama with
the feeling of someone really taking part in them. It provides
information on the characteristics of settings, customs, rites, and
cultures with convincing detail. By way of a gripping account of the
Redeemer’s earthly life, especially through discourse and dialogue, the
work sheds light upon the whole doctrine of Christianity in keeping with
Catholic orthodoxy.
The greatly-revered Blessed Gabriele M. Allegra, who
highly esteemed Valtorta’s work, wrote, "Gifts of nature and mystical
gifts harmoniously joined together account for this masterpiece of

Maria Valtorta is the best author of literature since St. John the Evangelist. Not only by her remarkable literary talent, but by Divine inspiration. Her monumental masterpiece, POEM
OF THE MAN-GOD, reads like a 5th Gospel, cautiously approved by Pope Pius XII, the ONLY 5th Gospel ever approved by a Pope with 3 priest witnesses! It is in perfect harmony with the Four Canonical Gospels. However, Catholics are onlyrequired to believe the Public Revelation of The Bible & Tradition (The "Deposit of Faith"), and therefor, Catholics may believe Maria's writings with their human faith,but are not forced to consider her writings as part of Divine Catholic Faith. New readers should be skeptical of authors making claims of having been inspired by God, but as they read their anxiety is relieved as they see that each page reinforces
their Christian Catholic Faith in such a wonderful way, that the vast majority of readers believe her work is a precious gift from Heaven in our unsettling times. She writes as if her pen is a camera, drawing readers into each scene as if being there. Some are pitifully unable to consider that God is so good as to give us this brilliant treasure in our age, so they initially view Maria's work as a literary product having the stylistic form of a revelation.
After reading many pages, it must cross their minds that a woman (or man) could not write these unique pages with simply her imagination.
CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH #67, Revised Edition 1997:
"Throughout the ages, there have been so-called 'private' revelations, some of which have been recognized by the authority of the Church. THEY DO NOT BELONG, HOWEVER, TO THE DEPOSIT OF FAITH. It is NOT their role to improve or complete Christ's definitive Revelation, but to HELP LIVE MORE FULLY BY IT IN A CERTAIN PERIOD OF HISTORY (like right now). Guided by the Magisterium of the Church, the sensus fidelium
knows how to discern and welcome in these revelations an authentic call of Christ or His saints to the Church. Christian faith cannot accept 'revelations' that claim to SURPASS or CORRECT the Revelation of which Christ is the fulfillment, as is the case in certain non-Christian religions and also in certain recent sects which base themselves on such 'revelations'."
St John of the Cross' advice is superceded by Pope Pius XII who privately (no cardinal as witness) said: "Publish this work(IlPoema dell'Uomo-Dio)as it is; there is no need to saywhether it is of supernatural origin, who reads it willunderstand."
Feb. 26,1948. Pius XII's cautious approval of the work fits in with Jesus' plan, Who told Maria that He wanted the work to spread like leaven throughout the Church, and that He did not want an open & noisy diffusion of it at that time even to the point of concealing her name as the author while she was alive.
The Church has to be cautious in declaring her work to be "inspired" because it would triple the size of the Bible, if all her writings (the parts that are dictations) are included: AZARIAH, LESSONS ON ST. PAUL'S EPISTLE TO THE ROMANS, POEM OF THE MAN-GOD (5 volumes), NOTEBOOKS 1943, NOTEBOOKS 1944, and NOTEBOOKS
1945-1950.
Requesting her own funeral arrangements, Maria wanted the phrase: "I have finished with suffering, but I will go onloving" to be printed in her memory. Ecclesiastical authority permitted this inscription upon her tomb: "DIVINARUM RERUM SCPRIPTRIX" (Writer of Divine Things),
a thinly veiled reference to her divinely inspired writings, the likeness of which has not been seen since Saint John the Great Evangelist and Revelator, hence Jesus' nickname for her as "Little John", and even "The New John". Maria's filling in the gaps between the 4 Canonical Gospels so harmoniously and skillfully is
nothing less than a NEW EVANGELIZATION with the command of Pope Pius XII.
St Paul was not made an Apostle by men, and he was not taught the Gospel by men (Galatians 1:1, 1:11-12). He received his apostleship and the Gospel directly from Jesus. His "private revelations" are accepted by all Christians as the Word of God. St. Luke and St. Paul are the most prolific New
Testament authors, and half of Luke's ACTS OF THE APOSTLES deals with the life of St. Paul. From The Book of Azariah, Maria's guardian angel, page 56 line 9, it is revealed what many suspect, that St. Paul is the author of Hebrews. This fact shows that St. Paul is the most prolific New Testament writer, although other information known shows that among the apostles, it was St. Peter who did the most to establish the early Church, who after all these years still has served in the longest pontificate.
Jesus says: "This is the Voice of the Teacher. It roars and caresses. It roars when it is addressed to those who do not want to be converted. It caresses when it speaks to those who, though imperfect, have the "good will" to find God and His Word and, having found Them, to sanctify themselves. For these it becomes the caress of a Friend and the blessing of Jesus."

Prologue to the Passion. " And now come. Although this evening you are like one who is about to breathe his last, come, so that I may lead you towards My sufferings. Long is the way we shall have to cover together, because I was not spared any sorrow: neither the pain of the flesh, nor the grief of the mind, of the heart, of the spirit. I tasted all of them, I fed on all of them, I quenched My thirst
with all of them, to the extent that I died of them. If you laid your lips on Mine, you would taste the bitterness that they still retain of so much sorrow. If you could see My Human nature in its appearance, which is now refulgent, you would see that that refulgence emanates from the countless wounds that like a garment of living purple covered My limbs, lacerated, exsanguinated, beaten, pierced for your sake. My Human nature is now refulgent. But one day it was like that of a leper,
so fiercely it had been struck and humiliated. The Man-God, Who had in Himself the perfection of physical handsomeness, being the Son of God and of the Immaculate Woman, to those who cast loving, curious, or scornful, or evil glances at Him, seemed a "worm", as David says, the scorn of mankind, the jest of people (Psalm 22:6)... ".... "Although you are in agony, follow Me. As I am the Merciful One, I shall be able to put also the scented honey of more serene contemplations
before your lips, poisoned by My sorrow. But you must still prefer these ones, smeared with blood, because it is through them that you have the Life, and you will be able to take the Life to other people. On Feb. 26, 1948, Pius XII said: "Publish this work as it is. There is no need to give an opinion about its origin, whether it be extraordinary or not. Who reads it will understand" *
Saint Padre Pio more than "advised" a spiritual daughter, Elisa Lucchi, to read Valtorta's writings. "I don't advise youto---I order you to." From a letter of Rosi Giordani, Jan. 7, 1989, San Giovanni Rotondo.
Five Cardinals, Telesphore Toppo of India, Luis Aponte Martinez of Puerto Rico, Varkey Vithayathil of India, Riccardo Vidal of the Philippines and Ernesto Corripio y Ahumada of Mexico have petitioned prelates worldwide to ask Pope Benedict to proclaim Mary as "the Spiritual Mother of All Humanity, the Co-redemptrix with Jesus the Redeemer, Mediatirx of all Graces with Jesus the One Mediator, and Advocate with Jesus Christ on behalf of the human race.... It is of great importance
(...) that people of other religious traditions receive the clarification on the highest level of authentic doctrinal certainty that we can provide, that the Catholic Church essentially distinguishes between the sole role of Jesus Christ, divine and human Redeemer of the world, and the unique though secondary and dependent human participation of the Mother of Christ in the great work of Redemption." These teachings about Jesus and Mary are abundantly clear in the writings of Maria Valtorta.
Jesus says: "May the grace of your Lord Jesus Christ be with all those who in this book see an approach of Mine and urge it to be accomplished, to their defense, with the cry of Love: 'Come Lord Jesus.'"Vol. 5, p 952.

Jesus speaks of Mary's suffering during His burial and after.
"And the torture continued with periodic attacks until dawn on Sunday. In My Passion I had only one temptation. But the Mother, the Woman, expiated on behalf of woman, guilty, several times, of every evil. And Satan behaved mercilessly with infinite cruelty towards the Conqueress.
Mary had defeated him. The most atrocious temptation for Mary. Temptation against the flesh of the Mother. Temptation against the heart of the Mother. Temptation against the spirit of the Mother. The world thinks that the Redemption ended with My last breath. No, it did not. The Mother completed it by adding Her treble torture to redeem the treble concupiscence, struggling for three days against Satan, who wanted
to induce Her to deny My word and not to believe in My Resurrection. Mary was the only one who continued to believe. She is great and blessed also because of that. A torture corresponding to My torture at Gethsemane. The world will not understand this page. But "those who are in the world without being of the world" will understand it and they will have an increased love for the

"Will all this be understood by modern society, to which I grant this knowledge of Myself to strengthen it against the more and more powerful attacks of Satan and the world? Also nowadays, as twenty centuries ago, those to whom I reveal Myself will contradict one another. Once again I am the sign that is rejected. But not with regard
to Myself, but with what I stir up in them. Good people, those of good will, will have the good reactions of the shepherds and of humble people. The others will react in a wicked manner, like the scribes, the Pharisees, the Sadducees and priests of those days. One gives what one has. A good person who comes in touch with wicked people provokes a surge of greater wickedness in them. And judgement will be passed on men as it was done on Good Friday, according to how they have judged,
accepted and followed the Master, Who with a fresh attempt of infinite mercy has made Himself known once again.

"Do you know why I ask for even more intense reparation and universal prayers to the Most Holy Sacrament? Out of justice. God is just even in the most insignificant things. Consider whether He does not want to be just in relation to worship of Him.
"The Sacrament concentrates the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your Jesus. Therefore, in praying in a spirit of reparation to Me as Eucharist, one prays not only to My Body, but to My Blood, in addition to the Soul and the Divinity. "I said worship and ministry. To be ministers of worship, it is not necessary to be priests. Every soul able to be my true disciple is a priest. I do not deny you this honor and do not deny Myself. Nothing is dearer to Me than to be drawn upon and sprinkled by loving, pure hands over sterile, stained, sick souls. The consecrated priest sprinkles Me over
souls in Confession. But the obscure priests, consecrated by the love which I alone know, can offer Me and sprinkle Me over all souls.
"There is no more meritorious ministry than this ministry of uniting one's blood to that of the great Victim and, in a mystical Mass, where I am the Celebrant, and you, the acolytes, sacrifice ourselves together and
provide together for the faithful and the unfaithful, who also need My Blood and yours, My Sacrifice and yours, to find the way of Life and Truth.
"Another reason for which I demand greater reparation to Me as Eucharist is that the blasphemous imprecations go against the Sacrament, whereas the Blood, in particular, is spared. The lack of attention surrounding it preserves it. It is better to be overlooked than blasphemed.
"That is why, in justice, I tell you that reparation should be made for a great deal regarding the Eucharist. General reparation regarding the Sacrament, but special worship by the disciples dearest to My Blood.
"I entrust it to the friends among My friends. As an army in battle secures its flags in the area of the most loyal, so I set My Blood in the midst of those I know to be loyal, capable of any sacrifice out of love for their King, and I give you the order to pass among the crowds with your hearts
full of My Blood so that It will descend upon poor men to save them. Those who extend themselves in the interest of their Lord will receive from the Lord a lofty reward in My Kingdom – the Lord says this to you; the Redeemer says this to you; Love says this to you; and so it will be, for God is faithful and truthful and gives a hundredfold."

Jesus, I trust in You
The eagle on Maria Valtorta's tombstone is a reminder of the loftiness of her writings, like Saint John the Evangelist who is often compared to an eagle. Archbishop Denis J. Hart of Melbourne -- has issued the following
statement about the ANONYMOUS Irish woman, who blasphemously calls herself "Maria Divine Mercy". It was sent to the parishes. The
letter, confirmed by one of his assistants, states:
"MARIA DIVINE MERCY"
"Maria Divine Mercy is an Irish woman who claims to be a
prophetess who asserts she receives messages and visions from Jesus and
Mary, especially about the end times and the end of the world. She
claimed that she had predicted that Pope Benedict would be forced to
resign, and that Pope Francis is an impostor.
"We are informed that some people are circulating these
alleged messages, together with holy pictures. Please inform your people
that these matters do not have the approval of the Church, and their
dissemination is to be discontinued, and any message or leaflets are to be
disposed of. The Archbishop believes that he must give authoritative

Pope Benedict XVI publicly declared that he resigned of his own free will, so Maria Divine Mercy's claim that he was forced to resign,
is a claim that Benedict was lying to everyone when he resigned. Now she is claiming we should follow Benedict as the true pope---after claiming he lied about his resignation being voluntary---what utter nonsense!!
1. European Bee-Killing Chemical Ban The European Commission will move forward with its plan to protect honeybees by implementing a two-year ban on certain neonicitinoid insecticides. Independent studies are increasingly linking these nerve-agent chemicals to colony collapse disorder, or CCD, and the new ban will help scientists see if eliminating the chemicals leads to a rebound in bee numbers. Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.) sponsored the new federal legislation, known as the Genetically Engineered Food Right to Know Act. According to the nonprofit Center for Food Safety, nine senators and 21 representatives have signed onto the bill as original cosponsors.

Jesus said: “My son, I have given you a mission to prepare the people
for the coming tribulation when the Antichrist declares himself. I am
raising up many people who are preparing refuges where My faithful will
be protected from the evil ones. My angels will be protecting My

many messages so My faithful will know when it is time to leave for My
refuges. The first major sign will be My Warning that will prepare

Jesus said: “My people, I had mentioned earlier about the usual
number of tornadoes that occur in the middle of America at this time of
year. This latest storm and others in Oklahoma caused the destruction
of over 1,500 homes and killed over 50 people. Such an F-5 tornado can
be very deadly in a populated area. It was sad to see so many children
that were killed. This violence of over a 200 mph wind is highly
unusual, and such storms have been generated by the HAARP machine in the
past. Pray for these people, and send donations to help them recover.”
Jesus said: “My people, there are so many people that are
possessed or obsessed with demons, that it is difficult to begin to pray
deliverance prayers for all of them. You can pray and fast for these
souls, and try to get them to wear some blessed sacramentals. The
demons are being allowed a short time to persecute the souls on earth
right now. Have patience because My victory over the evil ones will
come at the end of the tribulation.”
Jesus said: “My people, what you are seeing in America is a gradual
decay in your morals, as these sinful acts of fornication and
homosexual acts are not seen as sins by some. Even though you may
rationalize these actions as not being sins, they are still mortal sins
in My eyes, and each person will be held accountable. When you allow
abortions, euthanasia, and same-sex marriage in your laws and statutes,
you are condemning your nation, and calling down My judgment against
you. You will be seeing continuous disasters, and an eventual takeover
of your country as a punishment for your sins as a nation.”
Jesus said: “My people, this microwave weapon (HAARP) is being used by the
one world people to reduce the population and create enough chaos to
cause a coming martial law. Violent tornadoes and hurricanes can kill
people and destroy much property. Severe earthquakes can also kill
people with tsunamis, and create great devastation. Satan hates man,
and he is having those who worship him, put many killing incidents in
place using man-made machines. These evil ones will suffer for all the
killing that they are inflicting on mankind.”
Jesus said: “My people, time is speeding up, and the tribulation
time is quickly coming before you, when there will be no escape, except
at My refuges. You do not realize how evil this coming tribulation will
be because it will be an evil worse than you have ever seen. Call on
My angels to protect you and lead you to My refuges that will be
protected by an invisible shield. Do not think of using weapons to kill
people, but trust in My protection, and use your weapons of your
blessed sacramentals to defend yourself from the demons and evil people.
When I call you to come to My refuges, do not hesitate in leaving your
homes, or you will be risking martyrdom."
