Our Lord emphasized: "Children, through This Cross I will conquer.  This Cross will soon be a victorious Cross."

The AGONIZING CRUCIFIX is an integral part of the PRECIOUS BLOOD DEVOTION to prepare the Church for the perilous End Times (Three and a Half Years Tribulation of Revelation 12 & 13)

which many believe will soon be upon us, in our lifetime.  "Now when these things begin to take place, look up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."  Luke 21:28

 THE POEM OF THE MAN-GOD

Walk with Jesus along the roads,
       hear Him teach the crowds, instruct His disciples; and perform healing miracles in
this inspired  narration of the Gospel.

     Maria Valtorta, a prophet for our time, had mystical visions of 98% of the Four Canonical Gospels, plus much more (4,000 pages) not included in those Gospels.  Her prophetic/mystical writings comprise the greatest revelation of Jesus Christ since the first century.

"There were many other things that Jesus did; if all were written down, the world itself, I suppose, would not hold all the books that would have to be written."  John 21:25

 "In the Church, God has given the first place to apostles,  the second to prophets..."   I Cor. 12:28

"And prophets, two or three, let them speak, and let the others discern..."                            I Cor. 14:29-30

 Written by Maria Valtorta (1897-1961), the best author since Saint John the Evangelist and Revelator, hence the name Jesus gave her: "Little John".  However, Maria wrote a "lot" rather than a "little"---over 15,000 handwritten pages of such sublime spiritual quality that they can only be compared with the Bible itself.

 Jesus Teaches the Beatitudes

 Maria Valtorta is the best author of  literature since St. John the Evangelist.  Not only by her remarkable literary talent, but by Divine inspiration.  Her monumental masterpiece, POEM OF THE MAN-GOD, reads like a 5th Gospel, cautiously approved by Pope Pius XII, the ONLY 5th Gospel ever approved by a Pope with 3 priest witnesses!  It is in perfect harmony with the Four Canonical Gospels.  However, Catholics are only required to believe the Public Revelation of The Bible & Tradition (The "Deposit of Faith"), and therefor, Catholics may believe Maria's writings with their human faith, but are not forced to consider her writings as part of Divine Catholic Faith.  New readers should be skeptical of authors making claims of having been inspired by God, but as they read their anxiety is relieved as they see that each page reinforces their Christian Catholic Faith in such a wonderful way, that the vast majority of readers believe her work is a precious gift from Heaven in our unsettling times.  She writes as if her pen is a camera, drawing readers into each scene as if being there.  Some are pitifully unable to consider that God is so good as to give us this brilliant treasure in our age, so they initially view Maria's work as a literary product having the stylistic form of a revelation.  After reading many pages, it must cross their minds that a woman (or man) could not write these unique pages with simply her imagination.

The written testimony of Archbishop George Pearce indicates that an open mind will find Maria's work inspired by the Holy Spirit.  The written testimony of Bishop Roman Danylak, S.T.L., J.U.D., confirms Pius XII's directive that it is good pasturage for the faithful.  As bishops multiply in their endorsement of Maria's writings, it is clear that faith in her writings is more of divine rather than simply human origin.  Archbishop Soosa Pakiam M. of Trivandrum, India, granted an Imprimatur for the Malayalam translation of POEM OF THE MAN-GOD in 1992.  Archbishop Alfonso Carinci, Secretary of the Vatican Curia's Congregation for the Sacred Rites, endorsed Maria's Life of Jesus in 1946.  That is 5 successors of the Apostles,  including a Pope, that have endorsed Maria Valtorta's work with their charism of Magisterial teaching authority.

~~~~~~~~~~
CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH #67, Revised Edition 1997:
 "Throughout the ages, there have been so-called 'private' revelations, some of which have been recognized by the authority of the Church. THEY DO NOT BELONG, HOWEVER, TO THE DEPOSIT OF FAITH.  It is NOT their role to improve or complete Christ's definitive Revelation, but to HELP LIVE MORE FULLY BY IT IN A CERTAIN PERIOD OF HISTORY (like right now).  Guided by the Magisterium of the Church, the sensus fidelium knows how to discern and welcome in these revelations an authentic call of Christ or His saints to the Church.  Christian faith cannot accept 'revelations' that claim to SURPASS or CORRECT the Revelation of which Christ is the fulfillment, as is the case in certain non-Christian religions and also in certain recent sects which base themselves on such 'revelations'."
~~~~~~~

   St John of the Cross, a Doctor of the Church, said to distrust all "private revelation", but like light coming through a window, it will have the good effect, God desires, even if you mistrust it.  Jesus said to Maria: "You know more than the Great John (the Apostle).  O My worshipping crucified one, this is what I wanted to give you by virtue of your long suffering: perfect, complete knowledge of Us, as Saints and Doctors (of the Church) did not possess it."  Although Maria's writings are prophetic revelation, there are no "new" doctrines different from the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church.  On several pages, Jesus appeals for the unity of all Christians under the pope. Maria's writings, properly used, can be a spur to ecumenical unity.  The term "private revelation" is a non-scriptural term.  The Bible only speaks of true or false prophecy.

St John of the Cross' advice is superceded by Pope Pius XII who privately (no cardinal as witness) said: "Publish this work (Il Poema dell'Uomo-Dio) as it is; there is no need to say whether it is of supernatural origin, who reads it will understand." Feb. 26, 1948.  Pius XII's cautious approval of the work fits in with Jesus' plan, Who told Maria that He wanted the work to spread like leaven throughout the Church, and that He did not want an open & noisy diffusion of it at that time even to the point of concealing her name as the author while she was alive.

  The Church has to be cautious in declaring her work to be "inspired" because it would triple the size of the Bible, if all her writings (the parts that are dictations) are included:  AZARIAH, LESSONS ON ST. PAUL'S EPISTLE TO THE ROMANS, POEM OF THE MAN-GOD (5 volumes),  NOTEBOOKS 1943, NOTEBOOKS 1944, and NOTEBOOKS 1945-1950.

  Requesting her own funeral arrangements, Maria wanted the phrase: "I have finished with suffering, but I will go on loving" to be printed in her memory.  Ecclesiastical authority permitted this inscription upon her tomb:  "DIVINARUM RERUM SCPRIPTRIX" (Writer of Divine Things), a thinly veiled reference to her divinely inspired writings, the likeness of which has not been seen since Saint John the Great Evangelist and Revelator, hence Jesus' nickname for her as "Little John", and even "The New John".    Maria's filling in the gaps between the 4 Canonical Gospels so harmoniously and skillfully is nothing less than a NEW EVANGELIZATION with the command of Pope Pius XII:

"Publish this work as it is...who reads it will understand."

The Most Holy Spirit, the Author, says: "...confines are placed on the knowledge of the ecstacy of Paradise and infernal anguish (Hell). Because if you were to know all that it is, you would either die out of love or horror." pp. 60-61

   St Paul was not made an Apostle by men, and he was not taught the Gospel by men (Galatians 1:1, 1:11-12). He received his apostleship and the Gospel directly from Jesus.  His "private revelations"    are accepted by all Christians as the Word of God.   St. Luke and St. Paul are the most prolific New Testament authors, and half of Luke's ACTS OF THE APOSTLES deals with the life of St. Paul.  From The Book of Azariah, Maria's guardian angel, page 56 line 9, it is revealed what many suspect, that St. Paul is the author of Hebrews.  This shows that St. Paul is the most prolific New Testament writer.

 Jesus says:  "This is the Voice of the Teacher.  It roars and caresses.  It roars when it is addressed to those who do not want to be converted.  It caresses when it speaks to those who, though imperfect, have the "good will" to find God and His Word and, having found Them, to sanctify themselves.  For these it becomes the caress of a Friend and the blessing of Jesus."                  THE NOTEBOOKS 1944, Oct. 23.

     "O Holy Word!  Gift given to God's beloved, a robe of fire which You encircle with splendors, Life who become the Life of those to whom You give Yourself, may You be loved more and more with ardor and humility.

     Work in these children of Yours and of Mary, who took them as Her own at the foot of the Cross to bring comfort to Her Heart as a Mother whose adored Son was slain and to give glory to Your Divine Heart, O Most Holy Word of my Lord God.  Lead them to Your Heart and to the Immaculate Heart of Your Mother, where You slept as an infant and rested when slain, where there are still drops of Your Blood and of Her motherly tears, so that the rest of their humanity will vanish on contact with them, and they, luminous in Your Light, may enter with You into the City where everything is eternal perfection and You reign and will reign, Holy Son of God, Incarnate Word of the Father."   Prayer dictated to Maria, Dec. 7.   THE NOTEBOOKS 1943

"It is Passover evening!  We have never had such a worthy display for the consumption of the lamb.  So let us consume the supper in the spirit of peace.  I see that I have upset you considerably with My instructions of these last evenings.  But, see?  I have finished!  Now I will not upset you any more.  Not everything has been said of what refers to Me, but only the essential part.  The rest....you will understand later.  You will be told... Yes.  There will come Who will tell you!"[...]  Jesus sits down.  He does not lie down.  He sits as we do.  And He says: "Now that the old rite has been accomplished, I will celebrate the new one.  I have promised you a miracle of love.  It is time to work it.  That is why I have longed for this Passover.  From now on this is the Victim that will be consumed in a perpetual rite of love.  My beloved friends, I have loved you throughout the whole life of the Earth.  I have loved you for the whole eternity, My children.  And I want to love you till the end.  There is nothing greater than this.  Bear that in mind.  I am going away.  But we shall remain for ever united through the miracle that I will now work."   Chapter 598 of Vol. 5.

Prologue to the Passion.    " And now come. Although this evening you are like one who is about to breathe his last, come, so that I may lead you towards My sufferings.  Long is the way we shall have to cover together, because I was not spared any sorrow: neither the pain of the flesh, nor the grief of the mind, of the heart, of the spirit.  I tasted all of them, I fed on all of them, I quenched My thirst with all of them, to the extent that I died of them.  If you laid your lips on Mine, you would taste the bitterness that they still retain of so much sorrow.  If you could see My Human nature in its appearance, which is now refulgent, you would see that that refulgence emanates from the countless wounds that like a garment of living purple covered My limbs, lacerated, exsanguinated, beaten, pierced for your sake.  My Human nature is now refulgent.  But one day it was like that of a leper, so fiercely it had been struck and humiliated.  The Man-God, Who had in Himself the perfection of physical handsomeness, being the Son of God and of the Immaculate Woman, to those who cast loving, curious, or scornful, or evil glances at Him, seemed a "worm", as David says, the scorn of mankind, the jest of people (Psalm 22:6)... "....  "Although you are in agony, follow Me.  As I am the Merciful One, I shall be able to put also the scented honey of more serene contemplations before your lips, poisoned by My sorrow.  But you must still prefer these ones, smeared with blood, because it is through them that you have the Life, and you will be able to take the Life to other people.  Kiss My bleeding hand and be vigilant when meditating on Me, the Redeemer."        Vol. 5, pages 520 & 522

     On Feb. 26, 1948, Pius XII said:  "Publish this work as it is. There is no need to give an opinion about its origin, whether it be extraordinary or not.  Who reads it will understand" *

  His Holiness Pope Benedict has made the Latin Mass of 1962 more widely available since Sep. 14, 2007.  An anxiety felt by many Catholics since the Novus Ordo is seeing the priest turning his back on the tabernacle to face the people.  On June 3rd, 1944, Maria Valtorta had a vision of St. Peter (some time after the first Pentecost) celebrating the Eucharist OVER a precious chest serving as a tabernacle, thus facing the tabernacle, and also facing the people at the same time.   Problem solved--both priest & people are facing the tabernacle containing the reserved Eucharist, as they worship at Mass during the new Eucharistic Miracle!

Saint Padre Pio more than "advised" a spiritual daughter, Elisa Lucchi, to read Valtorta's writings. "I don't advise you to---I order you to."    From a letter of Rosi Giordani, Jan. 7, 1989, San Giovanni Rotondo.

 Five Cardinals, Telesphore Toppo of India, Luis Aponte Martinez of Puerto Rico, Varkey Vithayathil of India, Riccardo Vidal of the Philippines and Ernesto Corripio y Ahumada of Mexico have petitioned prelates worldwide to ask Pope Benedict to proclaim Mary as "the Spiritual Mother of All Humanity, the Co-redemptrix with Jesus the Redeemer, Mediatirx of all Graces with Jesus the One Mediator, and Advocate with Jesus Christ on behalf of the human race.... It is of great importance (...) that people of other religious traditions receive the clarification on the highest level of authentic doctrinal certainty that we can provide, that the Catholic Church essentially disiniguishes between the sole role of Jesus Christ, divine and human Redeemer of the world, and the unique though secondary and dependent human participation of the Mother of Christ in the great work of Redemption."   These teachings about Jesus and Mary are abundantly clear in the writings of Maria Valtorta.

Jesus says: "May the grace of your Lord Jesus Christ be with all those who in this book see an approach of Mine and urge it to be accomplished, to their defense, with the cry of Love:  'Come Lord Jesus.'"  Vol. 5, p 952.

 Jesus tells Maria that publishing POEM OF THE MAN-GOD could save 1,000 X 10,000 souls (ten million).

Mary, Mother of Jesus and Queen of Heaven & Earth, Pray for us who have recourse to Thee.  We entrust ourselves to You.

  "RADIO MARIA in Italy has been presenting the works of Maria Valtorta for many years.  Their nation-wide listening public in Italy is around 3 million strong, and both Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict have made very public their support, appreciation and encouragement for this excellent and punctiliously faithful Catholic radio station.  There are many cardinals and bishops who participate on a regular basis, and this certainly would not happen if there were even just a hint of something controversial in any of the many program offerings.  The founder and president of the radio station is Padre (Father)  Livio Fanzaga.  He himself was once skeptical about the works of Maria Valtorta--I don't know what it was though that convinced him.  Anyhow, RADIO MARIA is pretty much all over the globe now--and in the course of some 25 years, the Vatican and two popes have found nothing at all to criticize about the many programs that have been devoted to the works of Maria Valtorta.  RADIO MARIA is tremendously influential among the faithful, and for this reason, the Vatican for sure keeps a close eye--and attentive ear--on the radio's programming.  But it must be said that even in the Vatican, RADIO MARIA is as popular and well-loved as in any other place in Italy..."   Catherine Zeppa Di Matteo of Latisana (UD), Italy

 Jesus speaks of Mary's suffering during His burial and after.

     "And the torture continued with periodic attacks until dawn on Sunday.  In My Passion I had only one temptation.  But the Mother, the Woman, expiated on behalf of woman, guilty, several times, of every evil.  And Satan behaved mercilessly with infinite cruelty towards the Conqueress.

      Mary had defeated him.  The most atrocious temptation for Mary.  Temptation against the flesh of the Mother.  Temptation against the heart of the Mother.  Temptation against the spirit of the Mother.  The world thinks that the Redemption ended with My last breath.  No, it did not.  The Mother completed it by adding Her treble torture to redeem the treble concupiscence, struggling for three days against Satan, who wanted to induce Her to deny My word and not to believe in My Resurrection.  Mary was the only one who continued to believe.  She is great and blessed also because of that.  A torture corresponding to My torture at Gethsemane.  The world will not understand this page.  But "those who are in the world without being of the world" will understand it and they will have an increased love for the Sorrowful Mother.  That is why I gave it.  Go in peace with Our blessing."         POEM OF THE MAN-GOD,  Volume 5, pp. 637-638.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     "Will all this be understood by modern society, to which I grant this knowledge of Myself to strengthen it against the more and more powerful attacks of Satan and the world?  Also nowadays, as twenty centuries ago, those to whom I reveal Myself will contradict one another.  Once again I am the sign that is rejected.  But not with regard to Myself, but with what I stir up in them.  Good people, those of good will, will have the good reactions of the shepherds and of humble people.  The others will react in a wicked manner, like the scribes, the Pharisees, the Sadducees and priests of those days.  One gives what one has.  A good person who comes in touch with wicked people provokes a surge of greater wickedness in them.  And judgement will be passed on men as it was done on Good Friday, according to how they have judged, accepted and followed the Master, Who with a fresh attempt of infinite mercy has made Himself known once again.
     How many people's eyes will open and how many will acknowledge Me saying:  "It is He. That is why our hearts burned within us as He talked and explained the Scriptures to us?"  My peace to them and to you, My little, faithful, loving John."             POEM OF THE MAN-GOD,  Volume 4,  page 828.
If you have been blessed by reading the precious writings of Maria Valtorta, tell a friend about your joy.  Don't just keep your joy--give it to people you love---its like introducing a friend to a greater knowledge of the greatest Friend---Jesus!
  1. To prepare you for the battle, I give you My Agonizing Crucifix. I promise to protect anyone who has this Crucifix against the evil forces.
  2. Through this Crucifix, I will deliver many from captivity.
  3. Whenever you raise this Crucifix against evil power, I will open heaven and let My Precious Blood flow to subdue the evil power.
  4. I will let My Precious Blood flow from all
    My Sacred Wounds and cover all who venerate My Wounds and Blood through this Crucifix.
  5. I promise to protect any house where this
    Crucifix is against any destructive power in the hour of darkness.
  6. I promise to perform numerous miracles through this Crucifix.
  7. I will break their hearts of stone and pour My love on them that venerate My Agonizing Crucifix.
  8. I promise also to draw straying souls closer to Myself through this Crucifix.
  9. Children, in the days of the evil one you will be able to go freely without any harm through this Crucifix.
    Finally, Our Lord emphasized; "Children, through this Cross I will conquer. This Cross will soon be a victorious Cross."
NIHIL OBSTAT:  Rev. Fr. Stephen Obiukwu, Censor Deputatus, Archdiocese of Onitsha, Nigeria.
IMPRIMATUR: His Excellency Most Rev. Ayo-Maria Atoyebi, O.P., Bishop of Ilorin Diocese, Ilorin, Nigeria.
  Jesus says:
"Do you know why I ask for even more intense reparation and universal prayers to the Most Holy Sacrament? Out of justice. God is just even in the most insignificant things. Consider whether He does not want to be just in relation to worship of Him.
"The Sacrament concentrates the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your Jesus. Therefore, in praying in a spirit of reparation to Me as Eucharist, one prays not only to My Body, but to My Blood, in addition to the Soul and the Divinity. The reparation to My Blood is thus absorbed by that made to the Eucharist, wherein I am everything.
"I ask that My Blood be loved and used for the numberless needs of souls. Do not leave this ocean of power unfruitful, whose waves are given by My Blood. But, if it would be good for the Blood of the Redeemer to receive much greater worship than it does, it is also true that, given its holiness, I entrust this worship and this ministry to the souls most endowed with spiritual gifts.
"I said worship and ministry. To be ministers of worship, it is not necessary to be priests. Every soul able to be my true disciple is a priest. I do not deny you this honor and do not deny Myself.  Nothing is dearer to Me than to be drawn upon and sprinkled by loving, pure hands over sterile, stained, sick souls. The consecrated priest sprinkles Me over souls in Confession. But the obscure priests, consecrated by the love which I alone know, can offer Me and sprinkle Me over all souls.
"There is no more meritorious ministry than this ministry of uniting one's blood to that of the great Victim and, in a mystical Mass, where I am the Celebrant, and you, the acolytes, sacrifice ourselves together and provide together for the faithful and the unfaithful, who also need My Blood and yours, My Sacrifice and yours, to find the way of Life and Truth.
"Another reason for which I demand greater reparation to Me as Eucharist is that the blasphemous imprecations go against the Sacrament, whereas the Blood, in particular, is spared. The lack of attention surrounding it preserves it. It is better to be overlooked than blasphemed.
"That is why, in justice, I tell you that reparation should be made for a great deal regarding the Eucharist. General reparation regarding the Sacrament, but special worship by the disciples dearest to My Blood.
"I entrust it to the friends among My friends. As an army in battle secures its flags in the area of the most loyal, so I set My Blood in the midst of those I know to be loyal, capable of any sacrifice out of love for their King, and I give you the order to pass among the crowds with your hearts full of My Blood so that It will descend upon poor men to save them. Those who extend themselves in the interest of their Lord will receive from the Lord a lofty reward in My Kingdom the Lord says this to you; the Redeemer says this to you; Love says this to you; and so it will be, for God is faithful and truthful and gives a hundredfold."
The Virgin Mary in the Writings of Maria Valtorta
by Fr. Gabriel M. Roschini, OSM (1900-1977)
This is an account of the life of The Virgin Mary to edify those who wish to better know their Heavenly Mother in her historical daily life as well as in her extraordinary mystical life.
Renowned mariologist Roschini said:
"Maria Valtorta of Viareggio, Italy, is one of the eighteen greatest female Marian mystics of all time."
"..the Mariology found in all of Maria Valtorta's writings--both published and unpublished--has been a real discovery for me.  No other Marian writings, not even the sum total of everything I have read and studied, were able to give me as clear, as vivid, as complete, as luminous, or as fascinating an image, both simple and sublime, of Mary, God's Masterpiece."
Softcover, 395 pages, $27.00 US
Her physical beauty and indomitable spirit, her upper-class standing, the members of her family, her scandalous, licentious behavior in the worldly milieu of the Romans, her conversion that does not appease her inveterate passion, but rather directs her from a love of damnation towards a love of salvation... From the literary work of Maria Valtorta entitled THE POEM OF THE MAN-GOD, passages from various chapters, or entire chapters altogether, have been drawn out and interconnected, all regarding the figure of Mary of Magdala.
  Mary,  Mother of the Redeemer and the Church
Her Life, Sufferings and Mission
   Jesus says:  "The Human eye cannot stare at the sun, but it can look at the moon.  The soul's eye cannot stare at God's perfection as it is.  But it can look the perfection of Mary...  She is illuminated by Him, and reflects the light which has illuminated Her... NOTEBOOKS 1943, p. 115.
     "...in (My Mother's) prayers lies the secret of the salvation of the world.  She, My Mother, is the Conqueress of the cursed Dragon.  Assist Her power by means of your renewed love for Her, and your renewed faith and knowledge of what pertains to Her.  Mary has given the Savior to the world.  The world will receive salvation again from Her.  POEM OF THE MAN-GOD, Vol. #5, p. 946.
     "Always consider that Mary is the Mother of Pain, as I am the Master of Life.... She was alone, in the tremendous hour, to know the horror of solitude and to expiate your acts of desperation as creatures...  She was an abyss of hope... If you believe in Her always, you will never know the horror of despair..."   NOTEBOOKS 1943, p. 311.
     Jesus says: "(There will be) those who, although they belong to the Holy Religion, will not be beatified, because they did not lead a holy life.  But a virtuous heathen, only because he lived according to choice virtue, convinced that his religion was good, will have Heaven at the end..."                    POEM OF THE MAN-GOD, Volume #4,  p.167.
The newly elected Pope Francis  appears on the main balcony of St Peter's Basilica. His name was chosen after St. Francis of Assisi, the Vatican says.
We rejoice with all Catholics worldwide in the selection of His Holiness Pope Francis and pray that God will bless him and protect him in his accepting this awesome responsibility to shepherd Christians world-wide, especially Catholics, as the whole world faces problems never seen before in history.
Pectoral Cross of Pope Francis
The prophecy of St Malachy is that this pope ( PETER THE ROMAN--both his parents are Italian) will "Stand and feed the flock".  This image on the cross worn by the Holy Father certainly confirms this prophecy, which shows a shepherd holding a sheep on his shoulders amongst his flock. We pray for the success of his ministry.
Prophecy of John Leary, March 14, 2013:
Jesus said: “My people, you are all happy to have a new Pope, and many were surprised by the election of a Cardinal from Argentina. Some were also amazed at his humility in having the people pray for him, and that he took local transportation. He also chose St. Francis of Assisi as his name for Pope. You are being blessed with someone who treasures the Eucharist and My Blessed Mother. He is outside the Vatican, and he will have a chance to heal any problems in My Church. My faithful need to pray for the success of his papacy.”
Dr. Mark Miravalle, professor of theology and Mariology, Franciscan Univ. of Steubenville, exposes the Irish anonymous MARIA DIVINE MERCY, as a false prophet. Her false prophetic claim that Pope Benedict was the last true pope on earth, and that the new Pope Francis is not to be followed is a schismatic action that separates her and those who believe such nonsense from the One, Holy, Roman Catholic Church.
"Heresy is the obstinate post-baptismal denial of some truth which must be believed with divine and catholic faith, or it is likewise an obstinate doubt concerning the same;  apostacy is the total repudiation of the Christian faith;  schism is the refusal of submission to the Roman Pontiff or of communion with the members of the church subject to him."  Canon 751,
“IT WILL BE THE VICTIM-SOULS WHO WILL SAVE THE WORLD.”
Jesus speaks:
            "If many were to read what I have told you, then many would find some of My expressions a bit hard, almost impossible to believe from their human point of view. Father (Migliorini, Maria Valtorta's spiritual director) would be less astounded, because as a servant of Mine, he knows that nothing is impossible to God. This includes also certain ways of dealing with souls, ways that would not be copied by men, who judge everything according to their own false and severe way of seeing things. But this is always imperfect.
            When I say to you: "I loved you so much that I even satisfied your whims...", I am repeating a phrase that would cause many eyes to open wide in astonishment, and also cause disrespectful criticism of Me, and unpleasant judgments of you. Yet it is so, and this happened because of My very just reasons.
            When I wanted you for Myself, poor Maria, you were so human, and the people that you had around you were even more human than you were. They always weighed you down in such a way that you were quite a little savage. If I had asked of you then, what I asked of you later, and especially what I want of you now, hour by hour, you would have fled in terror.
            But Jesus never frightens. With His dear children Jesus is a Father, full of perfect loving kindness and Divine love; because if Jesus was man and knew man's sentiments, He has always been and is God, and therefore, in His Sentiments achieves God's Perfection.
            So, in order to come closer to you, and to bring you closer to Me, I followed the custom prevalent among human beings, when they try to win their contrary children. I offered and gave you everything you desired. Sometimes these were trifles, on other occasions they were important things. Well: your Jesus gave them to you.
            Sometimes you were dreaming with your eyes open, and considered your dream to be a reality. A man would have refuted your dream, calling you mad and insincere. But I, God, transformed your dreams into realities so as not to humiliate you in the eyes of the world.  In this manner, I led you to become so attached to Me, that you became what you are now: one with Me, inseparable from Me.
            You, a finite and imperfect being, no longer exist with your human limitations and imperfections, because you are absorbed, and have allowed yourself, of your own free will, to become absorbed by Me. You see Me in everything that occurs: pleasant, unpleasant, happy or sad.  You act while looking at My Face. You are fascinated by My Face.  I could guide you with My Look alone.  With even less: you are guided by My Heart-beat, by My Love. You live on My Love.
You live in My Love. You live for My Love.
            When something makes you happy, you run towards Me smiling to say to Me: "Thank you.” When you need anything, you stretch out your hand and ask Me for it. When you have a pain, you come to cry on My Heart. You are convinced that I am your Everything. that you make decisions and you trust in a way, that to human shortsightedness seems imprudence and madness. But you know that I am your Everything. A God that is Everything, and Who can do all things, and so you trust Me.
            It is precisely this absolute trust that forces Me to perform continuous small miracles for you, because it is the confidence of the person who loves Me, which opens My Divine Heart, and causes torrents of Grace to pour from it.
            You are Mine because I knew how to win you, because I knew how to turn your poor, lowly humanity into a masterpiece of My Mercy. You are Mine. You were living for so many things. You lived for your human preoccupations. You were suffering, dying in your body and in your soul, because you are a soul whose desires the world cannot satisfy, and you could not find the right path. Now you are Mine, Mine alone. And even on the cross you are happy because you have someone to love you as you want to be loved. You have Me, your GOD and your Spouse, your Jesus.
            When a soul succeeds in being Mine, to such an extent, Love takes the place of Law and Commandments. They are both Divine, but they still make their presence felt. They are like a harness placed over your animal nature, so that it does not rear up and fall into the precipices.
But Love has no weight.  It is not a bridle to impose compulsion.  It is a strength that leads you, even liberating you from your humanity.  When a soul really loves, Love takes the place of everything.  Such a soul is like a little baby in his mother's arms: she feeds him, clothes him, puts him to sleep, washes him, takes him for a walk or puts him in his cradle, all for his own good.  Love is the Mystical muse who brings up souls destined for Heaven.
            Certain miracles cannot and must not take place without your free will. Therefore, if by a special miracle, desired by three-quarters of your will and by a quarter of My Kindness, all souls could be converted to live by the spirit alone, that is, all worthy of Heaven, then I would say for the Earth the word "End", so as to be able to take everyone to Heaven, before a new ferment of humanity were again to corrupt some of the weaker ones among you. But, unfortunately, this will never happen. On the contrary, on Earth, spirituality and love are dying more and more.
            Consequently, souls who know how to live on spirituality and love, have to attain to the heights of the spirit, of charity and of sacrifice - because sacrifice is never lacking in this trinity of things necessary for one to be My true disciple - and to repair for those others who have killed both spirit and love in their hearts.  Make reparation, console, suffer.  It will be the victim-souls who will save the world."
Excerpt from  LESSONS ON THE EPISTLE OF ST. PAUL TO THE ROMANS, written by Maria Valtorta (Feb. 14, 1948):
"The most Divine Author (the Holy Spirit) says:
In Chap. 9 of Genesis, it is said, "...I will set My rainbow in the clouds, and it shall be the sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.  And when I will have accumulated clouds (the punishments) in the sky, My rainbow shall appear in the clouds and I will remember My covenant...of the everlasting covenant established between God and with every flesh that is upon the earth."
Rainbow: sign of peace.  Rainbow: bridge between Heaven and Earth.
Mary, the peaceful bridge joining Heaven and Earth, the most Beloved One who obtains mercy for sinners with Her sole presence.  And God, in the centuries before Christ, when the prevarications of men, obstinate and proud, accumulated the clouds of the divine chastisement upon Humanity, contemplating in His Thought She who ab eterno was established the Ark of the divine Word, Fount of Grace, Seat of Wisdom, the peaceful joy of Her Lord, dispersed the clouds of the inexorable chastisement, granting time to Humanity in expectation of Salvation.
The voice of the still unborn Virgin: "Peace! Mercy! My Lord!"
Her perfect love, Her perfect obedience, already noticed by God before the purest Star was, the sweet sacrificial odor that appeased the wrath of the Lord. And in the centuries after Christ, Mary is peace and mercy for Humanity.  And with the growing of sins and the increasing of storm clouds of divine wrath and satanic fumes, Mary is always the one who scatters the clouds, who disarms the lightening, who builds Her mystical bridge for Humanity who has fallen into the abyss so that it can rise up sweetly towards its Good.
"I will set My rainbow amongst the clouds...and I will remember My covenant."
Oh! truly the Rainbow of peace, the Co-Redemptrix is amongst the clouds, above the clouds, the sweet star that shines in the presence of God in order to remind Him that He has promised mercy to men and has given His Son so that men may have forgiveness.  She is such, not as a sweet thought but as a true reality, complete, with Her soul without blemish and Her flesh without corruption.  Nor is She content at being adored or blessed, but shows Herself to be active and calls, She again calls Humanity to Salvation.
The hour of Mary.  THIS HOUR."
Mary, Mother of Jesus and Queen of Heaven & Earth, Pray for us who have recourse to Thee.
We entrust ourselves to You.
